As a ‘free to download’ writing project ‘Art’s Plight’ generates no financial returns. Under the rule of ‘fair use’ numerous quotations from a wide range of writings (by artists, poets, novelists, musicians, philosophers, cultural commentators) are included as affirmatively cogent supports for the project’s concerns.

If a copyright holder objects to this ‘fair use’ the quotation in question will, on request, be removed. A footnote to the excised passage’s published source will be substituted to enable readers to locate the passage for themselves.
